NB Handy is a family company with a history spanning over a century. Over time, they had acquired several other companies within their industry to patchwork together a family of brands, however, they lacked a unified brand “umbrella” under which they could each operate independently.

NB Handy needed a way to bring all its companies together while still allowing them to cater to their own unique customer bases. They partnered with us to develop an overarching brand and strategy that would unite the companies while allowing them to maintain separation in their respective markets.

Strategy

Our strategic minds went to work designing two possible paths to success. We offered NB Handy the choice between becoming a house of brands (think Coca Cola) or a branded house (think Apple). Our recommendation of the house of brands would allow them to achieve both their objectives of coming together while remaining separate, and they agreed.

Creative

A team of Red Letter Creatives first put together a range of concepts for naming and taglines, working with the NB Handy team to decide on ARCO Innovations. Then, logos and brand standards were presented, after which we built and launched their brand new house of brands website.

Performance

Our team applied tracking capabilities to the site and followed up on performance to make sure everything was working properly and optimized for success.
